Story:
Henry McCoy was already a talented young scientist, when he became part of the SHIELD science team. He volunteered for the mission to explore the negative zone and was therefore part of the team that was hit by the Cosmic Rays. No one knew that he had a mutation already, which was eventually reinforced by the beams. So he got his current appearance, but also some new powers. Despite the accident, he was one of the first to engage the sense of starting a new superhero team strongly made to these new skills.
